On October 8th, the Rawlings Group officially opened the doors to it's corporate headquarters in Oldham County, Ky.  For more than 15 years, The Rawlings Group has been a major employer in downtown Louisville.  Last year, President & CEO, George Rawlings, decided to build a building and relocate the company to the suburbs.

The Rawlings Group is the nation’s most comprehensive and experienced health insurance data mining and claims recovery company.  Its new facility in LaGrange is a custom-built 156,000 sq. ft. building offering its employees free parking, a coffee shop, an employee health facility and Class A office space.

Rawlings will be the anchor tenant of the Eden Business Park, a 1,000 acre development located off of Exit 22 in LaGrange, Ky.  More than 550 jobs will be created in the area with an average salary of $51,000.

“We’re excited about having the Rawlings Group relocate its offices to Oldham County,” said Duane Murner, Oldham County Judge/Executive.  “The company’s building, its brand and its employees set the bar for the types of companies we’re hoping to recruit to our new business park.”

It is anticipated that Rawlings employees will have a significant impact on the surrounding community as well.  Deana Epperly Karem, executive director of the Oldham County Chamber of Commerce is confident the influx of new employees will benefit surrounding businesses.  “More than 50 of our Oldham County businesses have provided special discounts and customized services for the Rawlings employees.  We want these folks to feel welcomed in our community, and seek out local businesses for products and services,” she says.

The Rawlings Company has been providing data mining and claims recovery assistance to businesses for more than 22 years.  They’re currently located on six floors of the Waterside Buildings in downtown Louisville.
