The Oldham County Chamber of Commerce is accepting applications for the 2009 OCTA Awards presented by Republic Bank. The OCTA Awards recognize businesses for outstanding achievements in five categories:
Business of the Year Award recognizes a company in two categories:
◊ 1 – 25 employees ◊ 26 + employees
for outstanding performance in business growth. This would be recognized through increased revenue, customer/client base, new product development, expansion/investment into the community, new jobs or another form of business expansion.
Home-Based Business Award recognizes a company with support operations based in the home. This includes retail, services, consulting, marketing or sales. This company must have experienced significant growth or a successful new launch and remaining in business for at least 18 months.
∆ Community Service Award recognizes a company that has made significant strides in supporting, volunteering or working with a community cause, a public policy effort or non-profit agency.
∆ Woman-Owned Business recognizes a female-owned business for outstanding performance in business growth. This would be recognized through increased revenue, customer/client base, new product development, expansion/investment into the community, new jobs or another form of business expansion.

Deadline to submit an application is Friday, July 17 at 5 p.m. Nomination form is attached.
The OCTA Awards will be presented at a special celebration hosted by the Oldham County Chamber of Commerce in the Fall. Past recipients include Open Range Sports; Baptist Hospital Northeast and HDB Services Inc.
This year’s OCTA Awards are presented by Republic Bank.
