The Oldham County Chamber of Commerce has recently partnered with the Oldham County Fiscal Court, Oldham County Tourism, and The Oldham Era to launch a campaign encouraging folks to submit ideas for an Oldham County slogo. A slogo is a slang term for a community slogan and logo.
This year, the Oldham Chamber will be working to brand Oldham County in an effort to create awareness for its initiatives in economic development, tourism and its unequaled quality of life. Entries can be made by visiting http://www.oldhamera.com/slogo. Submissions will be accepted between January 5 - February 14, 2009. A cash prize will be awarded to the best logo and slogan. The top five slogos will be revealed at the 2009 Showcase Oldham County celebration and the winner will be announced in early Spring.
