Name: Colonial Williamsburg Centerpiece WorkshopDate: November 24, 2021Time: 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM ESTEvent Description:Centerpieces made from fresh greenery and fruit look gorgeous on a holiday table. Join in the fun at the Oldham County History Center as we make Colonial Williamsburg-inspired centerpieces from fresh fruit such as apples and lemons, and then embellish them with a little bit of fresh greenery, holly, magnolia leaves and colorful ribbon. Such workshops are great for beginners or those who want to craft simple, but elegant décor for the holidays. They are also a great experience for friends to share in as well as a great activity for co-workers to take part in. When finished, the centerpieces will resemble the Colonial Williamsburg-style centerpieces that grace dining room tables in Colonial Williamsburg, VA each year.
Centerpiece forms and greenery provided. Must bring own fruit. Amount of fruit to bring will be explained to participants when they register. Bring own fruit, gloves, wire cutters and glue guns if preferred. $15 members/$20 non-members.Location:Oldham County History Center, Rob Morris Educ. Building, 207 W.
